So I spent a bit more time on the banner instead of the game itself before trashing all progress and restarting designing the MGGJ 10 banner.

That being said I did do a bit for this game, namely coming up with a system for the cards. I want that the main mechanic to revolve around collecting cards and equipping them for power. There will be 5 types of cards: Characters, Weapon, Items, Elemental Nature and Events. Each cards have a different role and the combination of it will decide the gameplay. The player should choose 4 character cards and one weapon for each character. Then also one elemental nature that has a passive skill to reward certain team compositions and one event to buff the combat aspect. Items will be treated like consumables.

I have the basic design structure on paper. Now I need to implement it in Godot.
